This event boasts a neighborhood 5K Walk/Run, the Spartan Mile, & Kids Races!
MVHS Sports Boosters is proud to present the 14th Annual Spartan Turkey Trot this coming Thanksgiving weekend 2023!
People of all ages are encouraged to participate in the 5k Run & Walk and the Spartan Mile (1-mile). Kids are welcome to participate in the 5k and/or Spartan Mile + the 60/400 yd dash races (aka kids races).
Prizes are given to the top 3 M/F finishers of the 5k and the top M/F finishers of the Spartan Mile. Kids in the kids races will receive a finisher's ribbon.
All proceeds benefit the MVHS athletics department and supporting teams/clubs.
We hope you'll come out on Thanksgiving weekend to gather with friends, family and neighbors, to have some fun, celebrate the holiday, burn some calories, and support an organization making a difference for the kids in our community!

WHY
Giving back to Mountain View High School Students- 100% of the proceeds benefits all of MVHS Athletics and supporting teams/clubs to support student-athletes by funding team equipment, athletic field and facility improvements & trainer equipment for all sports.
FEES
Adults (19+) $45
Children (0-18 yrs) $30
*Same day registration IF AVAILABLE - $50 for all age groups.
****Kids FUN RUN will be held after the 5K and before the 1 Mile. Entry is Free! An option to "register" and buy a t-shirt for your youngster has been added to the registration.
T-SHIRTS
Registrants will receive a t-shirt designed by a MVHS student.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
7:30am pre-registration. The event is capped at 1400 participants. Register early to guarantee a spot.
8:20am Opening Ceremony + National Anthem
8:30am 5k run/walk
9:30am Kids Races 60/400 yd dash
10:00am Spartan Mile
11am Be home to put the turkey in the oven!
COVID-19
We will have additional "sanitizing stations" at the track and 5k water stations.
This year the 5k will have a 5-wave start to allow for additional spacing.
If you are sick please do not attend.
